Global Client Leader – GBC Construction & Infrastructure (C&I)

Aon are currently recruiting a Global Client Leader – Construction & Infrastructure to join our team in UK. The Global Client Leader will be primarily responsible for the broking and servicing of a major construction client.

What The Day Will Look Like

  • Ensure the Client is at the heart of business propositions and practice and they are treated fairly and ethically
  • Champion the deployment of Client Promise, ensuring that valid action plans are in place and delivered to agreed timelines
  • Ensure clients receive best in class service in a cost-effective manner
  • Providing occasional benchmarking and placement advice to clients
  • Accountable for active client relationship management
  • Client meetings
  • Produce and/or deliver tenders
  • Overseeing the presentation of terms to client/network
  • Provide technical wording advice to clients/network
  • Market relationship management

Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of required training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

  • Deep understanding of, trends, macroeconomic factors, and implications for C&I supporting understanding of client business and risk issues
  • Creative, innovative problem solver able to translate strategic concepts into solid business executable growth opportunities and leverage competitive intelligence to develop and adjust strategies.
  • Authoritative knowledge of industry/market trends and all C&I offerings and capabilities to help develop new innovative solutions and geographic growth plans
  • Consistent track record of increasing sales, developing a sales region, and leading sales teams with positive results
  • Experience of successful business development and representing the firm to large complex clients
  • Builds inclusive and diverse teams. Fosters an environment in which all employees are valued and heard
