Work, Play and Grow at BlackLine!

Make Your Mark:

At BlackLine, we believe our strongest partnerships are built on trust, diverse perspectives, and a shared vision for success. We are looking for an insightful, relationship-focused Global Account Director to join a specialised, high-impact team managing our most strategic Mega Enterprise clients - global organisations with annual revenues exceeding $10 billion.

In this highly visible role, you will be the steward of our most valued customer relationships, taking ownership of the global strategy for a select portfolio of 8-10 highly complex accounts. You will frequently work alongside BlackLine's C-level executives to navigate global account structures, support long-term finance transformation initiatives, and drive multi-year platform adoption. This is an opportunity for a highly organised, collaborative professional to bring their unique perspective and make a meaningful impact at the highest levels of global enterprise.

You'll Get To:

  • Drive strategic global partnerships by taking ownership of the executive relationship and long-term global strategy for a dedicated portfolio of Mega Enterprise accounts, engaging directly with C-suite stakeholders including CFOs, Global Process Owners, and IT Leadership,
  • Lead platform selling and expansion through rigorous white-space analysis, cross-selling platform solutions to drive multi-year account development and leading large-scale engagements ($500k - $1M+) rather than transactional sales,
  • Orchestrate complex ecosystems by acting as the strategic quarterback, leading highly complex cross-functional internal teams (Solution Architects, Customer Success, Legal) and collaborating closely with external consulting partners (e.g., Deloitte, EY, Genpact).
  • Create a vision for success by developing comprehensive multi-year account plans, organising executive workshops, customer education sessions, and executive forums to align BlackLine's platform with the client's long-term digital transformation programmes,
  • Navigate global structures by managing intricate international accounts, working seamlessly across subsidiaries and regions while tracking mergers, acquisitions, and evolving stakeholder environments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
