Strategic Account Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Account Manager based in United Kingdom.
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for building strong, long-term relationships with enterprise customers and driving growth through strategic account development. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients maximize the value of their solutions while identifying opportunities for expansion and business impact. You will manage key accounts across European markets, collaborate with internal teams, and support customers through product demonstrations, renewals, upgrades, and new opportunities. This position combines consultative sales, account management, and partnership development within a technology-driven environment. It is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, understanding business challenges, and contributing to sustainable growth.
Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Drive account growth by proactively identifying and pursuing opportunities for additional products, services, upgrades, and expansions.
- Lead or participate in quarterly business reviews to understand customer goals, demonstrate value, and identify future opportunities.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations and identify relevant contacts for different product areas.
- Manage inbound customer requests, including new modules, user additions, upgrades, and service requirements.
- Deliver product demonstrations through virtual platforms and on-site meetings when required.
- Prepare proposals, pricing, contract updates, and service quotations in collaboration with internal teams.
- Partner with consulting and business development teams to uncover new opportunities and support customer success.
- Maintain accurate customer data, activities, and account information within CRM systems.
- Manage strategic partner and channel initiatives within assigned territories.
- Conduct market research, support regional sales activities, and represent the organization at industry events and conferences.
- Travel as needed to strengthen customer relationships and support business development activities.

Requirements
- University degree in business, sales, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, strategic account management, business development, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with a consultative approach.
- Experience managing complex accounts and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence delivering product demonstrations and explaining technology solutions to customers.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong business judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with software solutions, enterprise technology, or EHS-related platforms is considered an advantage.
