Cobra Network part of the PIB Group are looking for a Strategic Account Manager who own and grow a portfolio of strategic broker relationships. Develop and execute account strategies that increase revenue, retention, and share of wallet while maintaining a service-led reputation and strong compliance standards. Align internal teams to deliver value, leveraging digital tools and data to drive performance. What you’ll be doing: Account Strategy and Growth Build multi-year account plans with clear growth levers, propositions, and activity calendars. Drive pipeline creation, cross-sell, and upsell across products and services. Map stakeholder networks; secure executive sponsorship and QBR/EBR cadence. New member acquisition Build new member pipeline to achieve new member growth in line with Network target. Relationship Leadership Act as the primary senior contact; handle escalations and complex negotiations. Deeply understand member needs, market trends, and underwriting appetites. Commercial Management Own revenue, margin, and retention targets; forecast accurately. Delivery and Service Orchestrate internal teams (broking, operations, marketing, digital) to meet SLAs. Champion adoption of portals/tools (e.g., broker portals) to improve speed and experience. Governance and Risk Ensure adherence to FCA/Consumer Duty and internal policies. Maintain accurate CRM records, contracts, and audit-ready documentation. Insight and Reporting Produce MI on pipeline, conversion, product mix, pricing, and churn risk. Run member QBRs with actionable insight and clear actions/owners. Collaboration and Enablement Feed client and market insight into product, placement, and marketing teams. Support bid responses, case studies, and reference programmes. What we’re looking for: Experience in commercial insurance account handling, ideally with exposure to larger or more complex clients. Strong understanding of general insurance products and markets. Confident communicator, able to build relationships with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities. Why PIB Group?
