Strategic Account Manager (Flexibility) –Cross MST/EMEA/NAM (m/f/d)
About the Role
Kraken is seeking an exceptional Strategic Account Manager to own and develop one of their largest Flexibility customer relationships across the UK, Europe, and North America.
As a key stakeholder, you’ll build trusted relationships, align priorities across Kraken teams, and ensure customers realise the full value of our Flexibility solutions.
Key Objectives:
- Drive strategic value for our largest Flexibility customer
- Strengthen customer alignment across Residential Flex, GenFlex, and emerging Flex propositions
- Act as the primary point of contact and cross-functional leader

Responsibilities
Customer Relationship & Advocacy
- Own the strategic Flexibility relationship with one of Kraken’s largest customers
- Serve as the primary coordination point between the customer and Kraken for Flexibility
- Build trusted advisor relationships with executives, operational, and technical stakeholders
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Align priorities across Delivery, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success
- Advocate for the customer’s needs while balancing the entire business
- Monitor critical features, commitments, and incidents to drive delivery progress
Communication & Accountability
- Provide clear and concise updates to senior stakeholders during periods of change
- Challenges constructively and holds both customer and internal teams accountable
- Prepare client reporting, account health updates, and forecasting
Strategic Initiatives
- Facilitate customer governance, including product roadmap reviews and QBRs
- Lead commercial discussions as required
- Ensure customers realise meaningful outcomes from Kraken’s Flexibility ecosystem
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience managing complex enterprise customers
- Strong stakeholder management
- Ability to simplify complexity and communicate effectively to diverse audiences
- Highly organised, proactive, and autonomous, with self-starting mindset
- Comfortable holding others accountable and navigating difficult conversations
- Collaborative and influence-driven

Preferred Experience
- Energy industry expertise
- Proficiency in Flexibility markets (UK/EMEA/NAM)
- Experience in commercial negotiations
