Strategic Account Manager – NHS & ICS (MedTech / Wound Care)

Location: London & South East England Working Pattern: Field-Based / Remote Type: Permanent Travel: Approximately 50% Vehicle: Company Car Provided Salary: Up to £58k plus bonus

A global healthcare organisation is seeking an Strategic Account Manager to drive growth across its Medical & Surgical portfolio within London and the South East.

This is a senior commercial role focused on developing partnerships across Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), NHS Trusts and wider healthcare stakeholders. The successful candidate will operate at executive level, building influential relationships, identifying growth opportunities and leading commercially focused collaborations that deliver value-based healthcare solutions.

The role is ideal for an experienced healthcare commercial professional with strong NHS market knowledge, established stakeholder networks and a proven track record of driving strategic account growth

Building and maintaining strategic relationships with NHS stakeholders across London and the South East Developing deep market and ICS-level knowledge to support regional business strategy Acting as a trusted commercial partner to NHS executives and decision-makers Leading customer partnerships to drive sustainable revenue growth Identifying and developing new commercial opportunities across the healthcare landscape Building and leveraging Key Opinion Leader (KOL) networks Delivering value-based and outcome-focused business proposals Leading complex commercial discussions, negotiations and business case development Collaborating with internal teams to align customer needs with strategic objectives Managing key opportunities through a structured CRM and account planning process

About You:

Degree qualified in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare or a related discipline Significant commercial experience within MedTech, Wound Care or the wider healthcare sector Previous experience in roles such as Business Development Manager, Commercial Lead, Market Access Manager or Strategic Account Manager Strong understanding of NHS structures, ICSs and healthcare procurement pathways Demonstrated success influencing senior NHS stakeholders and executive decision-makers Proven experience developing strategic healthcare partnerships Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiations and business case development Ability to analyse data and translate insights into commercial opportunities Established network of NHS stakeholders desirable Strong relationship-building, presentation and influencing skills Full UK driving licence
