Main responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop new relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Technology and Digital Transformation leaders.
- Build a sustainable pipeline of consulting opportunities.
- Generate new consulting revenue through your existing network and targeted business development.
- Build strategic relationships across enterprise organisations.
Consulting Sales
- Sell high-value consulting engagements.
- Position specialist consultants against complex technology challenges.
- Qualify opportunities quickly.
- Own the sales cycle from initial conversation through to contract signature.
- Negotiate commercial agreements within agreed margin parameters.
Client Relationship Management
- Become a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
- Understand strategic technology roadmaps.
- Identify future consulting opportunities.
- Drive repeat business and account growth.

Market Development
- Help shape Flat Rock's consulting proposition.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insight.
- Identify emerging technology trends.
- Recommend new consulting services based on market demand.
Collaboration
Work closely with:
- Commercial Director
- CEO
- Marketing
- Technical Consultants to ensure clients receive exceptional service from first conversation through delivery.
Requirements
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience selling technology consulting or professional services.
- Demonstrable experience winning new enterprise business.
- Existing network across UK technology decision makers.
- Experience selling consulting engagements rather than products.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles.
- Comfortable engaging with C-level stakeholders.
