Strategic Business & Product Development Manager

Help Build the Next Generation of Energy Technology

The energy transition is creating entirely new markets, business models, and technologies. We're looking for someone who wants to be at the forefront of that change.

This is more than a strategy role. It's an opportunity to identify what's next, validate emerging market opportunities, and turn bold ideas into products and businesses that accelerate the transition to a cleaner energy system.

Working at the intersection of energy markets, commercial strategy, technology, and innovation, you'll have the freedom to explore opportunities beyond our core platform. You'll work directly with customers, industry leaders, and cross-functional teams to uncover unmet needs, test new concepts, and launch solutions that create real impact.

If you're naturally curious, commercially driven, passionate about the energy transition, and love turning ideas into reality, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Be Doing

Discover What's Next

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-potential growth opportunities adjacent to our core business.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments across European energy markets.
  • Validate product-market fit through structured market discovery and customer engagement.
  • Build compelling investment cases and strategic recommendations for new products, services, and market expansion.

Get Close to the Market

  • Speak directly with customers, traders, developers, utilities, and other industry participants to uncover emerging needs.
  • Develop deep insight into customer challenges and where the market is heading.
  • Leverage and grow your network across the European power sector to validate opportunities and generate commercial insight.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
