Strategic Business Manager
Strategic & Transformation Manager
Location: Paris or London (Hybrid)
The role combines strategic planning, financial and business analysis, and hands-on delivery of high-impact initiatives across EPS’s core verticals (Banking-as-a-Service / Embedded Finance, and Prepaid/Gift cards).
Working at the intersection of strategy and execution, the Strategic & Transformation Manager will drive cross-functional initiatives, business performance steering, and decision-making support, contributing directly to EPS’s growth and operational excellence.
This role reports directly to the Managing Director, serves as part of the EPS Management Team, and works in close collaboration with Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams.
What You Will Be Doing
Strategic Planning & Key Strategic Initiatives
- Lead EPS business planning cycles (3-year strategic plan, annual budget, and forecast cycles), in close partnership with Finance
- Lead the definition of go-to-market and growth strategies across EPS verticals, including:
- Market prioritization
- Value proposition shaping
- Commercial approach strategy
- Conduct market and competitive analysis
- Prepare high-impact executive materials (Board, Group, internal reviews, live updates)
- Lead and deliver high-priority, cross-functional initiatives sponsored by senior leadership:
- Transformation programs
- Partnerships
- M&A
- Platform evolution
- Structure and drive project governance, timelines, and stakeholder alignment
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Sales, Finance, Compliance) to ensure effective execution
- Act as a central interface with Edenred Group and external advisors (consultants, partners)

Pricing Management & Business Support
- Lead the definition and execution of EPS pricing strategy, ensuring alignment with growth and profitability objectives
- Establish pricing frameworks and guidelines across EPS offerings and key clients
- Develop advanced financial models and business cases to inform strategic decisions and major deals
- Provide strategic insights on revenue, margins, and performance drivers across clients and verticals
- Support senior leadership on commercial strategy, governance, and business performance tracking
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes and decision-making frameworks
What You Will Bring
Core Skills
- Strong strategic thinking, ability to translate ambiguity into clear recommendations
- Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills (Excel-based business cases, data analysis)
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with strong PowerPoint capabilities
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end
- High level of autonomy, ownership, and results orientation
Technical & Industry Knowledge
- Good understanding of payments, fintech, and banking ecosystems (Baas, card issuing, processing, embedded finance preferred)
- Experience working in or with regulated financial environments (a plus)
- Familiarity with pricing models, unit economics, and commercial frameworks
- Exposure to M&A, corporate strategy, or transformation initiatives (advantageous)

Qualifications
- Degree from a leading university in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience in strategy, consulting, transformation roles
- Experience working in a multinational or high-growth environment (a plus)
- Fluent in English; French strongly preferred
