Strategic Buyer
7 Steel Service – Lichfield
Up to £42,500, plus (up to) 10% annual bonus
Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 16:30
Hybrid (Monday & Friday working from home, after the successful completion of a 6-month probation)
Joining our 7 Steel Service team as a Strategic Buyer, your days will be varied, exciting and fast-paced. You will play a key part in developing and delivering our sourcing strategy, building and maintaining supplier relationships, as well as managing and improving our stock management systems. You will also collaborate with the wider team to consolidate opportunities and strategies across 7 Steel.
You will be an experienced Buyer, who is confident in negotiation, supplier management, and the fundamentals of procurement. Ideally, you will have a background in the construction industry, however, what is most important to us is your strong communication skills, commercial mindset, and ability to think outside the box.
This opportunity involves domestic travel as and when required, and occasional international travel. You will require a valid passport and UK driving license to be eligible for this role.
