Our knowledge of customer estates, combined with our ability to execute a zero-carbon strategy from assessment through to delivery is, we believe, unrivalled. Our customers include the biggest organisations in the UK and to date, we have saved them over 353,000 tonnes of carbon.

We believe every organisation has a responsibility to act to reduce their impact on the planet and we are recruiting talented, passionate leaders to help us make Plan Zero happen. www.planzerocarbon.com

Mitie is the UK's leading facilities management and professional services company, looking after a large, diverse, blue-chip customer base, from banks and retailers to hospitals, schools, and government offices. With over 68,000 people, 100+ office locations, and thousands of customers across the country, there's no limit to what you can achieve if you work for us.

How you will make Plan Zero happen

Mitie is passionate about bringing positive change for our customers and aspires to be their strategic decarbonisation partner as they embark on their Net Zero journey. We support clients to decarbonise their energy, buildings, and transport operations, and you will play a pivotal leadership role in this mission by managing 1-2 key strategic accounts and ensuring the successful delivery of their energy and sustainability programmes.

The role is positioned in the Mitie Energy Operations team, and the successful candidate will be accountable for the overall performance, growth, and strategic direction of their accounts, ensuring we exceed contractual requirements and build long-term, trusted partnerships.

What will you do day to day?

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Strategic Client Lead. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a proven background in sustainability, decarbonisation, and client management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
