This is a rare opportunity to lead a high-profile transformation agenda at BRE and play a pivotal role in how we deliver our strategy, scale our impact, and prepare for the future.

As our Organisational Design & Operating Model Transformation Lead, you'll work directly with senior leaders to redesign how the organisation operates, helping us unlock greater effectiveness, innovation, and value. You'll combine strategic thinking with practical delivery, creating operating models that make the most of people, processes, data, digital tools, and emerging technologies, including AI.

About the Role

BRE is evolving to meet changing customer needs, accelerate growth, and maximise its impact. This role will lead the design and delivery of organisation-wide operating model transformation, ensuring we have the structures, capabilities, governance, and ways of working needed to achieve our long-term ambitions.

Acting as a senior internal consultant, you'll work across the business to assess current organisational effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and design practical solutions that support strategic goals. From developing future-state operating models through to implementation and embedding change, you'll lead end-to-end transformation that delivers measurable business value.

You'll collaborate with leaders across technical, research, commercial, and corporate functions, helping create a more agile, data-driven, and technology-enabled organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead organisation-wide organisational design and operating model transformation initiatives.
  • Assess current structures, processes, governance, capabilities, and technology to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop future-state operating models that align with BRE's strategy and support growth, innovation, and impact.
  • Design practical solutions spanning organisation structure, governance, processes, roles, skills, data, and technology.
  • Build roadmaps and implementation plans that translate strategy into action.
  • Drive adoption of data-led decision-making and technology-enabled ways of working, including AI where appropriate.
  • Facilitate senior leadership workshops and support key organisational decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executives, providing evidence-based recommendations and constructive challenge.
  • Lead implementation and change activities to ensure successful adoption and sustainable outcomes.
  • Track benefits and measure the impact of transformation initiatives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
