About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Strategic Finance Manager to play a key role in supporting Rosemont’s acquisitive growth strategy. This position sits at the heart of our M&A activity, providing financial insight across acquisition evaluation, transaction execution and post-deal integration.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders including the CEO, CFO and Group Finance Director, gaining broad exposure across high-impact strategic initiatives. The role combines robust financial modelling and analysis with hands-on involvement in deal delivery and value creation.
This is a hybrid role which requires the successful candidate to ideally be based in our Leeds office at least 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Acquisition Evaluation & Deal Support
- Lead financial analysis of acquisition targets, including performance, forecasts, cash flow and value drivers
- Build and maintain valuation, investment appraisal and acquisition models (leveraging modern forecasting tools and AI where appropriate)
- Support due diligence processes, reviewing quality of earnings, working capital and key financial risks
- Assess strategic fit, synergy opportunities and value creation potential
- Prepare high-quality materials for senior leadership, Board and investors

Transaction Execution
- Support financial aspects of negotiations and evaluate commercial implications
- Review transaction documentation including completion accounts and price adjustment mechanisms
- Coordinate finance workstreams with legal, tax, treasury, banking and external advisers
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the transaction lifecycle
Integration & Value Creation
- Support integration planning and execution for acquired businesses
- Establish financial reporting, governance and forecasting processes post-acquisition
- Track synergy delivery and monitor performance against investment cases
- Partner with operational teams to drive EBITDA growth and improvement initiatives
- Manage earn-out tracking and reporting
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Deliver insightful financial analysis to senior stakeholders and investor audiences
- Support lender presentations and acquisition financing activities
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure smooth execution and integration
Candidate Profile
Essential Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA or CFA ideally, but will also consider ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience in M&A, transaction services or corporate finance
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and investment appraisal capability
- Experience supporting due diligence and transaction execution processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Commercially astute with strong business partnering skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to US transactions or North American markets
- Experience in pharma, life sciences or private equity-backed environments
- Knowledge of debt-funded acquisitions and financing structures
- Understanding of treasury, tax and post-merger integration considerations
- Experience working across multi-jurisdictional, cross-border transactions
