About the Role
You will be the portrayal and delivery hub for structured business development and client engagement across Truth, Environment and Sustainability, driving growth through:
- Strategic client relationship management (corporate, C-suite, procurement).
- Market differentiation: Identifying adjacent and emerging sectors where environmental risk, sustainability planning, climate resilience, nature-based solutions, and digital innovation intersect.
- Cross-Business integration: Enabling cross-selling between Sustainability + Environment and WSP’s broader capabilities.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Client Engagement Strategy
- Design and implement structured engagement programmes for priority clients, mapping account ownership, stakeholder access, and touchpoint strategies.
- Autonommatic relationships with decision-makers (C-suite, procurement, technical sponsors), ensuring WSP’s value is visible at every decision-making stage.

Business Development & Opportunity Pursuit
- Identify and qualify emerging opportunities—scaling, frameworks, partnerships—where WSP’s integrated environmental and advisory expertise can win.
- Lead pipeline growth, ensuring high-quality, ready-to-win opportunities with clear capture plans, intelligence, and win themes.
- Support bid and proposal teams with positioning strategy, value narratives, and feedback integration.

Client Feedback & Improvement
- Establish a disciplined feedback loop, analyzing client insights to enhance delivery confidence, relationship depth, and future win strategies.

Market Profile & Thought Leadership
- Collaborate with marketing and communications to amplify WSP’s propositions through campaigns, events, case studies, and thought leadership.
- Ensure visibility of technical leadership and differentiated capabilities in key sectors.

- Collaboration & Governance
- Act as the portrayal lead for growth coordination across sectors, disciplines, accounts, marketing, bids, and delivery teams.
- Embed disciplined approaches to opportunity qualification, account planning, and feedback follow-up—evidenced-based decision-making drives success.
- Interface effectively with managing directors, sector/key account managers, technical leads, and bid teams.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll thrive in this role if you can demonstrae: ✅ Client Development & Relationship Management
- Proven track record in strategic account development, with Meistered ability to build and deepen senior-level engagement across complex organizations.
✅ Business Development Expertise
- Experience in identifying new markets, aligning client needs with commercial opportunities, and driving cross-selling across disciplines.
- Active CRM and pipeline management experience—preferably in .engineering, sustainability, or advisory services.
✅ Strategic Insight & Horizon Scanning
- An appetite for market research—relating to policy shifts, regulator development, ΕΥΑMar meta-trends—and translating insight into actionable growth strategies.
✅ Stakeholder Coordination
- Ability to work across matrixed teams—alignment with marketers, bid teams, technical leaders, and clients—to ensure unified messaging and execution.
✅ Profile & Marketing Leadership
- Experience in brand enhancement through thought every events, case studies, or campaigns that showcase technical credibility.
✅ Analysis & Improvements
- A structured process for collecting, analyzing, and acting on client feedback—as well as evaluating data ( teatral, sales insights) to optimize strategy.
✅ Integrity, Communication & Evolution
- Authentic, collaborative and persuasive speaker capable of supporting complex interactions with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- Demonstrates own initiative in a multi-paced global environment where critical decisions depend on a data and feedback.
