Strategic Growth Manager

Salary: £35,000–£40,000 base + £15,000 OTE Location: Manchester (Hybrid) Employment Type: Permanent

Why This Role Stands Out

This is more than a standard job—it’s a founding role within a groundbreaking engagement-led growth function, built with direct support from the VP Marketing, VP Sales, and CEO, with a clear strategic path to expand into a dedicated team as it proves successful.

  • Sell with creativity, not volume – Employ curated dining experiences, executive roundtables, private workshops, and bluntly impactful direct mail instead of generic cold emails.
  • Leverage unparalleled insights – The business operates the world’s largest, longest-running dataset on the family economy, giving unrivalled access to stakeholders at global brands, including those you’ll engage with in this role.

The Role in Detail

This isn’t a high-volume ** Sales Development Representative** (SDR) role repackaged. Instead, you’ll focus on high-value relationship-building with senior stakeholders at brands like Disney, Lego, and Warner.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
