Strategic Indirect Procurement Manager

Location & Remuneration

Leeds (Hybrid – 3 Days Office / 2 Days WFH)

  • Salary: £60,000–£65,000
  • Car Allowance: £5,000
  • Bonus: 10%+

Relocation Support: Encouraged for candidates with existing UK right to work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading Strategic Sourcing:
    • Drive strategic sourcing projects and complex contract negotiations across indirect spend (e.g., marketing, professional services, IT).
  • Business Partnership:
    • Serve as a trusted procurement advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial Strategy:
    • Develop category and supplier strategies that deliver long-term savings and performance gains.
  • Supplier Relations:
    • Manage key supplier relationships and enforce continuous improvement across contracts.
  • High-Visibility Impact:
    • Contribute to a procurement function that plays a critical role in the wider business.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Proven track record in strategic sourcing and complex contract negotiations.
    • Indirect procurement exposure, with preferably experience in:
      • Marketing
      • Professional Services
      • IT
      • Other Services
  • Skills:
    • Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
    • Highly commercially minded, with a focus on cost reduction, innovation, and supplier optimization.
  • Mindset:
    • Desire to develop in a growing procurement function.
    • Proactive, ambitious, and results-driven.
