Job Purpose and Impact
The Strategic Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy, yearly marketing planning, and execution of the marketing plan with global cross functional teams to grow the Polymer Processing Aides and Amides portfolio of products. In this role, you will develop customer targeting plans and marketing programs to grow brand awareness and create demand generation for a global portfolio of products. You will also work closely with marketing communications, sales teams, distributors, and other industry partners to promote and educate about the product portfolio, including new product introductions.

Key Accountabilities
- Create go-to-market plans including segmentation, customer targeting, product positioning, and value proposition development for current products and new product introductions
- Develop the marketing strategy and plan to grow the product portfolio, reach new customers, and maintain loyalty with existing customers
- Execute and lead multichannel digital marketing promotions and advertising in conjunction with external marketing agencies and trade media partners
- Identify and implement marketing opportunities in collaboration with sales, distributors, and technical teams to help grow the business
- Design, develop and implement marketing programs to raise awareness of the brand/product portfolios in current markets and to new market segments
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Experience working with external creative and digital media agencies
- Experience in market analysis, segmentation, and customer targeting strategies
- Experience with product positioning and value proposition development
- Experience developing marketing plans with distributors and trade publications
