As a Performance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving operational performance across Strategic Networks, ensuring the delivery of key customer, environmental, and regulatory targets. Working closely with operational teams, Team Managers, and senior stakeholders, you'll use data, insight, and continuous improvement techniques to identify opportunities, improve performance, and deliver sustainable results.

You'll lead pollution reduction initiatives, support the delivery of capital and IRE programmes, manage budgets and resources effectively, and help ensure our teams are ready to respond to operational challenges 24/7. This is a highly visible role that combines leadership, performance management, and strategic problem-solving to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers and the business.

A full UK driver's licence will be required.

This role is working Monday – Friday (37 hours per week) and participation in a standby rota will be required.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a confident and inspiring leader with a proven track record of delivering performance through people in a fast-paced, customer-focused operational environment. You'll be an excellent communicator, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels, managing complex challenges, and leading teams through change.

With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you'll be comfortable using performance data and operational insight to drive continuous improvement and deliver business objectives. You'll bring experience of budget management, resource planning, and operational performance, alongside a solid understanding of health and safety, regulatory requirements, and network operations.
