About the team

A&C Operations is a central strategic operations and PMO function supporting approximately 800 people across Advisory & Consulting. The function partners with Service Line Leadership, Business Unit Leaders, and operational teams to improve visibility, governance, and execution across the service line. The team is responsible for operational governance, executive reporting, workforce-planning support, change coordination, and PMO oversight of priority programmes across A&C. The function's focus is to reduce leadership administrative burden, improve delivery predictability, strengthen risk management, and ensure A&C can scale effectively as strategic priorities grow.

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Strategic Operations & PMO Senior Associate to provide operational, project management, and coordination support in multiple business areas across Advisory & Consulting. You will help create structure, improve processes, and enable senior teams to operate efficiently. Within 6 months, the successful candidate will have established reliable operational rhythms, improved reporting quality, introduced structured processes, and become a trusted coordination point across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Coordination & Delivery

    • Coordinate daily operations, meetings, agendas, and follow-ups.
    • Maintain documentation, trackers, schedules, and status reports.
  • Project Management & PMO Support

    • Support project planning, milestone tracking, and progress updates.
    • Manage RAID logs and support timely resolution of risks and issues.
    • Prepare reporting packs, briefings, and insights for senior leadership.
  • Data, Reporting & Insights

    • Maintain operational dashboards and performance trackers.
    • Consolidate data into clear, actionable insights.
    • Ensure consistency and accuracy of operational information.
  • Process Improvement

    • Identify workflow improvement opportunities.
    • Standardise templates, communication rhythms, and reporting processes.
    • Introduce new ways of working that enhance clarity and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Support & Communication

    • Act as a coordination point across internal teams.
    • Prepare presentations and communication materials.
    • Support cross-functional alignment and stakeholder engagement.

What we are looking for

Essential:

  • Experience in project coordination, PMO, or business operations.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Experience in professional services or matrix organisations.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or operational dashboards.
  • Understanding of governance frameworks or delivery methodologies.
