About the Role
As the Strategic Partnership Manager in Advanced Wound Care, your role is to deliver value-based solutions aligned with the evolving NHS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Territory Performance: Achieve and surpass sales targets and support revenue growth within Essex & North East London (90% customer-facing role)
- Market Access: Collaborate with CSU/ICS stakeholders, ensuring regional formulary inclusion and tender success for Convatec products
- Strategic Planning: Develop ICS-wide plans to increase revenue and market share
- Key Account Management: Cultivate trusted relationships with ICS C-suite, senior ICB leaders, providers & system stakeholders
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain governance with PCNs, clinically led network hubs, CCGs & health authorities
- Solutions Delivery: Identify clinical, operational & financial needs, proposing tailored Convatec solutions
- Awareness & Advocacy: Position Convatec as a trusted partner for safer, more effective wound care within the NHS
- Collaborative Working: Align with UKI functions & wider Convatec teams to meet objectives
- Commercial Strategy: Implement value-based procurement & growth models that benefit both the NHS and Convatec
- Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance & pipeline through CRM & reporting

Requirements & Preferences
Essential Criteria
- High-Level Selling Skills: Proven experience in complex negotiations with diverse, high-value customers (NHS leadership)
- Product & Clinical Mastery: Ability to explain commercial benefits of Convatec solutions in NHS procurement discussions
- Profit-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of price, profitability, and NHS P&L impact
- Sales Achievement: 100% target consistency with a historical track record in similar medical/NHS roles
- Data Abilities: Skilled in managing budgets, CRM segmentation, demand forecasting, and rapid analysis
- Project Leadership: Experience setting & delivering against short- & long-term objectives
- Strategic NHS Knowledge: Understanding of core NHS structures (ICBs, CCGs, PCNs), priorities, and procurement frameworks
- Access Experience: Notable success in driving product adoption (hospitals/community)*
- Dashboard Management: Strong CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiency
- Operational Delivery: Capable of high-impact execution against deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Communication: Mother tongue/business-level English (written & spoken)
*Experience of NHS Business Managers, CCDNs or equivalent is advantageous. Fieldwork will be conducted from an office, incorporating approximately 20% administrative time.
