Strategic Partnerships Manager

PropTech / Property Data

£60,000 basic salary
OTE circa £100,000
Remote / field-based working

Do you have established relationships across the estate agency space with medium to large estate agency groups? Have you got a track record of selling as a supplier into the sector?

Our client is looking for someone to head up the national sales of their property data product. There are already a team of BDM's working on the smaller agencies, so this role is specifically targeting bigger brands.

The right person will have a very good understanding of property sales and the process as well as a proven track record of building upon old and new relationships.

A really exciting and potentially very lucrative role for an out and out salesperson.

The opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing PropTech / property data business that is looking to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager / Strategic Partnerships Manager.

This is a senior new business role focused on opening up larger estate agency groups and strategic property-sector relationships.

The business already has a sales function focused on smaller and mid-sized agencies, but now wants to hire a dedicated senior salesperson to target larger, multi-branch estate agency businesses. The focus will be on organisations with typically five branches or more, where the opportunity is bigger, the sales process is more complex, and the buying journey involves multiple stakeholders.

This role would suit someone who has already sold into larger estate agency groups, property businesses, PropTech customers, SaaS clients, or similarly complex B2B organisations. You’ll need to be persistent, commercially credible, and confident enough to build relationships with senior decision-makers.

The role

As Senior Business Development Manager / Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and converting larger estate agency groups into customers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You will build and manage a strategic target account list, map stakeholders, create opportunities, and progress prospects through longer, multi-stage sales cycles.

This is a role for someone who enjoys the chase but can also operate with polish and patience. You’ll need to be tenacious enough to keep pursuing the right accounts, but consultative enough to understand each customer’s priorities and position the product properly.

You will be speaking with senior stakeholders including Managing Directors, CEOs, Sales Directors, Marketing Directors, Finance Directors, and Operations leaders.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and target larger estate agency groups across the UK.
  • Build a strategic prospect list of multi-branch property businesses.
  • Create new opportunities through outbound activity, referrals, events, introductions, and industry relationships.
  • Secure meetings with senior decision-makers and influencers.
  • Run discovery calls, demos, follow-ups, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Navigate longer sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Understand each prospect’s structure, priorities, and buying process.
  • Position the product accurately and consultatively depending on stakeholder need.
  • Work closely with the leadership team on proposals, pricing, and commercial strategy.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide clear pipeline visibility.
  • Build strategic relationships that create long-term commercial value for the business.

About you

You will be a proven senior B2B salesperson with experience winning larger or more complex accounts.

You may come from PropTech, property data, SaaS, estate agency suppliers, CRM, compliance, referencing, marketing technology, portal services, or another B2B solution sold into property businesses.

Most importantly, you will be able to evidence where you have opened doors, created opportunities, and won business with larger organisations.

You’ll need to be someone who can graft. This role requires persistence, follow-up, and resilience. But it also requires credibility, commercial awareness, and the ability to hold your own in senior conversations.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven B2B new business sales experience.
  • Experience selling into larger, multi-site, or multi-stakeholder organisations.
  • A strong track record of opening doors and closing new business.
  • Experience managing longer sales cycles.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Strong consultative selling skills.
  • Confidence in face-to-face meetings and field-based business development.
  • Excellent organisation and CRM discipline.
  • A clear, accurate, and responsible approach to selling.
  • Ideally, experience selling into estate agency, PropTech, property services, SaaS, or data-led businesses.
  • Existing relationships in the estate agency sector would be highly advantageous.

The package

  • £60,000 basic salary
  • OTE circa £100,000
  • Remote / field-based working
  • UK-wide opportunity
  • Reasonable travel, meetings, and business development expenses will be expected as part of the role.

Why this role?

This is a chance to join a growing business at an important stage of its development.

The company has a strong product, an established customer base, and a clear opportunity to grow further into larger estate agency groups.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to take ownership of the enterprise / strategic sales channel and make a visible impact.

This is not about chasing hundreds of small transactional wins. It is about building a credible pipeline, opening the right doors, and converting a smaller number of larger, more valuable accounts.

If you are a senior B2B salesperson with experience selling into larger property businesses, estate agency groups, or complex B2B customers, we’d be very interested in speaking with you.
