We’re Hiring: Strategic Planner (B2B Digital Marketing) at Metia
At Metia, we partner with ambitious B2B and technology organisations to drive growth through insight-led strategy, creative excellence, and measurable performance.
We’re looking for a commercially minded, digitally native Strategic Planner who can turn complex business challenges into clear, compelling strategies that deliver real-world impact — measured in pipeline, leads, and revenue.
This is a central role within the agency. You’ll shape campaigns, influence creative direction, lead client conversations, and ensure our work drives meaningful business outcomes.
The Role
You’ll collaborate closely with account teams, creatives, performance specialists, and clients to translate business objectives into integrated digital strategies.
We need someone who is credible in B2B and tech environments, confident leading from the front, and comfortable operating both at big-picture campaign level and detailed project/brief level.
What We’re Really Looking For
- Have strong B2B and/or tech experience — and are credible with clients and internal teams
- Bring a digital-native mindset with strength across digital media and channels
- Judge success the same way our clients do: data, metrics, pipeline, leads, revenue
- Operate at brief/project level as well as campaign and brand level
- Understand client business objectives, audiences, and channel ecosystems
- Define and confidently pitch the strategic approach that solves the client challenge
- Architect practical solutions at whiteboard level — turning strategy into something actionable
- Understand the tools, platforms, and systems required to activate strategy
- Project energy and a strong can-do attitude
- Are confident and agile at leading multiple client projects and briefs simultaneously

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
