Job Title
Clinical Partners is experiencing significant growth, and we're looking for a talented Strategic Planning Analyst to play a critical role in ensuring we have the right resources, capacity, and workforce in place to deliver exceptional services to our clients and patients.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Operational Delivery & Projects, you'll be at the heart of strategic decision-making, using data, forecasting, and planning expertise to drive business performance and support ambitious growth plans.
This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior stakeholders. You'll combine analytical expertise with commercial insight to forecast demand, optimise workforce capacity, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations that directly influence organisational strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve the organisation's workforce, demand, and capacity planning models.
- Develop integrated forecasting models covering clinician availability, contract delivery, and future workforce requirements.
- Deliver forecasts and insights relating to:
- Workforce and clinician resourcing
- Operational capacity
- Revenue performance
- Contract delivery
- Resource utilisation
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to ensure planning assumptions reflect business realities.
- Anticipate workforce, capacity, and delivery risks and provide proactive solutions.
- Support business leaders in setting ambitious yet achievable operational targets.
- Work closely with data and technology teams to enhance planning tools, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
- Lead scenario planning activities to support budgeting, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Present clear recommendations, options, and trade-offs to senior leaders, enabling informed decision-making.

Requirements
We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, analytical, and commercially aware, with the ability to translate complex information into practical business solutions.
Essential
- Experience in workforce planning, operational planning, forecasting, analytics, or a similar data-driven role.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using SQL and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience analysing and interpreting large, complex datasets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience presenting data-driven recommendations to stakeholders at varying levels.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Degree-level qualification, or equivalent experience, in Analytics, Operations, Business, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
Desirable
- Experience within healthcare, mental healthcare, or NHS environments
- Salesforce experience
- Knowledge of predictive modelling, workforce planning, and forecasting methodologies
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or operationally complex environment
