# Senior Strategic Procurement Manager – Service Sourcing (OneSource Portfolio)
About the Role
Playing a critical role in shaping our supplier strategy, optimising commercial outcomes, and strengthening the long-term performance of our enterprise service portfolio. This role transcends transactional buying—it is a critical contributor to our global procurement vision, driving value creation, supplier innovation, risk mitigation, and operational excellence across our service ecosystem.
You will partner closely with global procurement, operations, quality, and finance teams to build a resilient, high-performing supply base that supports our growth ambitions, enhances customer satisfaction, and ensures a competitive advantage through data-driven decision making and strategic supplier management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers capable of supporting current and future business needs, ensuring alignment with category strategies and long-term enterprise goals.
- Own the end-to-end sourcing and negotiation process for complex service contracts within the OneSource account portfolio, delivering optimal commercial terms, risk protection, and service performance.
- Develop and execute supplier contracting strategies, including:
- RFP (Request for Proposal) design
- Bid evaluation
- Contract award
- Long-term agreement structuring to support scalability, cost optimisation, and service innovation
- Drive strategic supplier relationship management (SRM) through:
- Establishing performance expectations
- Leading business reviews
- Fostering collaborative partnerships that improve profitability, service quality, and customer outcomes
- Act as the senior escalation point for supplier performance issues across the OneSource account portfolio, ensuring:
- Timely resolution
- Root cause analysis
- Continuous improvement
- Lead structured supplier performance reviews using:
- KPIs
- Scorecards
- Market intelligence to enforce accountability, continuous improvement, and strategic alignment
- Leverage data and market insights to:
- Inform sourcing decisions
- Benchmark competitiveness
- Identify risks and opportunities
- Provide actionable intelligence to field teams and leadership
- Collaborate cross-functionally with:
- Global procurement
- Operations
- Finance
- Service delivery teams to align supplier strategies with broader business objectives, cost targets, and customer satisfaction goals.

Basic Qualifications
- CIPS Qualified, OR
- 3+ years of progressive procurement experience
- PC literate in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Working Environment
- Office-based (Cambridge, UK)
- 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
