General Summary

The Strategic Programs Manager serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leadership, driving alignment across key initiatives and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for:

  • Orchestrates strategic planning
  • Manages cross-functional programs
  • Enables executive decision-making via effective governance and communication
  • Leads and drives AI transformation initiatives, ensuring:
    • Successful adoption
    • Integration
    • Scaling of AI-driven solutions to enhance business performance and innovation

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Strategic Alignment & Execution

  • Partner with executive leadership to:
    • Define strategic priorities, goals, and success metrics.
    • Translate high-level strategies into actionable plans with alignment across departments/teams.
  • Monitor progress against strategic objectives and provide data-driven adjustments.
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions and track documented outcomes.

2. Operational Cadence & Governance

  • Establish and manage the business rhythm:
    • Leadership meetings
    • Quarterly business reviews
    • Annual planning cycles
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks to drive accountability and transparency.
  • Improve operational efficiency by:
    • Identifying/resolving process bottlenecks.
  • Prepareexecuttleve reports for data-driven decisioning (dashboards and executive summaries).

3. Program Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional strategic programs from inception through execution:
    • Ensure timely delivery within scope.
  • Develop program plans, manage resources, and mitigate programmatic risks.

4. Executing Partnership & Leadership Enablement

  • Act as a thought partner to executive leadership by offering:
    • Strategic counsel
    • Operational support
  • Enable leaders to prioritize high-impact decisions by managing:
    • Communications
    • Follow-ups
    • Delegated initiatives
  • Prepare presentations, briefings, and stakeholder materials for maximizing executive engagement.

Must meet core competencies:

  • Experience leading AI transformation initiatives, including:
    • Adoption
    • Integration & scaling
    • business performance and innovation
  • Demonstrate proactive leadership with:
    • Strong business acumen
    • Exceptional organizational skills
    • Cross-functional influence abilities
  • Ability to manage large projects/processes independently, with limited supervision.
  • Familiarity as an expert in an applicable work area.
  • Capacity to situationally adapt to new technology/processes as business needs dictate.

Educational & Experience Recommendations

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.

Working Conditions

  • Location flexibility: Onsite, hybrid, or remote depending on location.
  • Travel: 10–20% required.
