Strategic Project Lead - Fintech

Strategic Project Lead – CEO’s Trusted Right-Hand Partner

Are you the sort of person who naturally becomes the one everyone relies on to get things moving?

About the Role

We’re looking for an exceptionally bright, commercially astute and highly organised Strategive Project Lead to work alongside the CEO of an ambitious, high-growth Fintech business. This is not a traditional project management role—nor is it an Executive Assistant position. Instead, you'll become the CEO’s trusted right-hand, taking ownership of business-critical projects, influencing stakeholders across the organisation, and ensuring strategic initiatives move seamlessly from planning to execution.

If you’ve kicked off your career within a fast-paced SaaS or technology business, enjoy solving complex problems and thrive when no two days are the same, this could be your next challenge.

About the Company

Our client is an innovative Fintech business experiencing rapid growth.

  • Collaborative & ambitious culture: Talent is trusted to take ownership, challenge conventions and drive genuine commercial impact.
  • Future-focused: Participants in this role will shape the company’s direction as it scales.
  • Previously referred to as a "bonded partnership"—not just a job: your contributions will make an outward difference.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll own projects across sales, product, marketing, and operations, ensuring they deliver on time, efficiently, and to impactful outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

Your day-to-day would include:

  • Cornes across complex business needs, bringing clarity to ambiguity and helping stakeholders align on priorities.
  • Build credibility with senior leaders and influence decisions every hour of the day.
  • Push projects forward independently—if stuck, resolve or keep the CEO updated in real time.
  • Impersonate the VOIP for alignment in organisations as a whole with the same enforcement to a competitive, career-building mindset.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
