Strategic Project Manager – Transformation Office

About the Role
As a Strategic Project Manager within our Transformation Office, you will help deliver strategic initiatives through effective planning, collaborative working, strong stakeholder engagement, and a focus on achieving meaningful business outcomes.
In this role, you’ll:
- Help cross-functional teams of various sizes execute high-value projects.
- Work closely with our executive leadership team to enhance internal operations and enact meaningful change.
- Develop, manage, and monitor cross-departmental projects that drive long-term business value.

What You’ll Do
- Lead special projects identified by the Executive team as critical to NAVEX’s strategic priorities
- Partner with stakeholders to:
- Understand objectives
- Define success measures
- Develop delivery plans and work toward solutions
- Collaborate with executive management to:
- Identify desired strategic outcomes
- Implement changes
- Facilitate:
- Project governance
- Progress reviews
- Problem-solving sessions to ensure projects remain on track
- Prepare:
- Clear project updates
- Recommendations
- Presentations for executive leadership
- Develop and maintain project plans, including:
- Timelines
- Dependencies
- Risks
- Key milestones
- Build effective working relationships across departments to drive collaboration and successful delivery
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing strategies to:
- Anticipate and overcome obstacles
- Act as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of project management practices within NAVEX

What You’ll Bring
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience
- Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) desirable
- 5+ years’ experience managing large, complex transformations as a:
- Consultant
- Corporate environment
- Experience supporting:
- Business transformation
- Systems implementation
- Process improvement initiatives (Lean methodologies a plus)
- Strong ability to:
- Scope
- Prioritise and manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously
- Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving, with the ability to:
- Identify root causes
- Recommend practical solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience:
- Facilitating workshops
- Meetings
- Decision-making forums
- Demonstrated success in:
- Pushing teams toward decisions
- Building alignment among stakeholders
- Self-motivated with:
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Experience using:
- AI/AI agents to accelerate execution and drive outcomes
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Smartsheet
- Microsoft Excel
- PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
- Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to acting with integrity

The starting pay for this role is 75,000+ GBP.
