Strategic Sales Manager (UK)

Reporting to: Managing Director (UK)

Contract: Permanent

Location: UK-based

Salary: £60,000–£70,000 - plus company car and commission

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Strategic Sales Manager to accelerate the growth of our client, a UK aviation business. This is a high-profile, revenue-generating role focused on winning new customers, expanding existing accounts, and driving sustainable sales growth across airports, airlines, and ground handling organisations.

As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities, developing strategic account plans, and building strong relationships with senior decision-makers. You will take ownership of the full sales cycle, from prospecting and opportunity creation through to negotiation, contract award, and long-term account development.

Success in this role will come from your ability to understand customer challenges, position compelling value propositions, and deliver tailored solutions that drive measurable operational and commercial benefits. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in increasing market share, strengthening customer partnerships, and delivering ambitious revenue targets.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute sales professional who thrives in a competitive environment, enjoys being in front of customers, and has a proven track record of winning complex B2B sales opportunities and developing strategic client relationships within a consultative sales environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
