About the Role
This position offers a multi-dimensional balance across international markets outside North America, structured around three key pillars:
Focus Areas

Defining, governing and scaling the international training framework, tools, and content model. (~33% focus on setting standards, reliable processes and scaling consistency aligned to commercial objectives.)

Strategous stakeholder leadership, centralising alignment and ownership across: (~33% focus on managing cross-functional partnerships to ensure implementation, local engagement and resource accountability.)
- International Leadership Team
- Regional sales and training teams
- Miami-based training and brand teams
- L&D departments (and external partners)

Training delivery where local resources are scarce—orchestrating strategic launches, capability recover, or need for tighter governance. (~33% hands-on execution in high-priority markets with support for direct training delivery.)
Scope & Responsibilities
**Primary Accountability: International Training Leadership
- Core Audiences: International markets (EMEA, APAC, LACA)
- Areas Owned: Strategic traininnig framework (content, governance), stakeholder alignment, and training delivery in underserved markets.
**Core Interfaces:
Internal/External: ✔ International Leadership Team ✔ Regional sales and training stakeholders across international markets ✔ Miami-based training and brand teams ✔ L&D teams ✔ External partners & suppliers
Strategic Training Framework & Behind-the-Scenes Governance
- Define & execute overarching international training strategy and roadmap for global operations outside NA.
- Establish frameworks to ensure consistency, with governance models and principles that scale across territories.
- Own the training content model, tools, and modular training architecture—create scalable assets and toolkits.
- Maintains a centralised international training library for real-time updates on Cruise brand, products, and launches.
- Aligns training priorities to commercial strategy, premium brand expectations, and wider business capabilities.

Stakeholder Leadership & Global Alignment

Prime representative for international markets—linking stakeholders across:

- External suppliers (guiding resource adoption).

Facilitate alignment on training priorities, feedback cycles, and rollout strategies.

Empower local markets by coaching and providing localised guidance while enforcing CEO-approved standards.

Advocate for best practice in global discussions—bridging fragmented operational silos into multidimensional cohesion.
Direct Training Delivery & Execution
- If a market has no internal resources, deliver training directly—prioritise strategic rollouts (e.g., skillets), product launches, and program optimisation.
- Blend remote-first principles with added flexibility to manage multi-time-zone training support.
- Test new training formats/tools; optimise for adoption and business impact.
- Monitor KPIs (adoption, quality) to ensure alignment with customer conversions & profitability.
Innovation, Measurement & Long-Term Thinking
- Innovate within bounds of approved AI tools, digital platforms, scalable content development.
- Design measurement frameworks to verify training effectiveness, governance viability, and business alignment.
- Conduct benchmarking to ensure future-ready offerings and commercially competitive standards.
You: What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in training/learning strategy, preferably in large matrix environments.
- CIPD/Learning Certification (desirable but not critical).
- Hybrid skillset—balancing strategy with on-the-ground execution.
- Background in managing external service partners/supplier relationships, with a prioritization of digital training delivery.
- Experience building benchtop-ready training assets and improving efficiency.
- Knowledge of LMS/web-based platforms, organisation-wide alignment.
- Experience designing training measurement and cost teams.
