YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES…

  • Strategic advisory for brands entering sports sponsorship or evolving their partnership portfolios across sports and entertainment
  • Development of data-informed sponsorship strategies and partnership platforms that address brand and business objectives, identifying the right properties, ecosystems, and activation territories
  • Leading end-to-end brand advisory projects by translating business and marketing objectives into impactful sports sponsorship strategies and coordinating cross-functional teams across Global Advisory, Creative, Brand Consulting, Sales, and Business Development
  • Identifying, evaluating, and engaging with rights holders, supporting partnership negotiations, and building strong relationships throughout the sponsorship development process
  • Translating business and marketing objectives into impactful sports sponsorship strategies by combining strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to concept development and client storytelling
  • Structuring complex client challenges and managing international projects while collaborating closely with colleagues across Global Advisory, Creative, Brand Consulting, Business Development, Sales, and our international market teams, aligning diverse stakeholder perspectives
  • Developing creative approaches for brands in close collaboration with internal creative teams and helping bring future partnership concepts to life
  • Leading strategic workstreams and ensuring high-quality delivery across sponsorship strategy, platform evaluation, and brand platform development
  • Presenting strategic recommendations and advising senior stakeholders and C-level decision-makers across international brands
  • Driving proposal processes end-to-end, including scoping, storytelling, and the development of compelling client presentations

WHAT YOU’LL BRING…

  • University degree in business, marketing, sports management, communications, or a comparable field
  • 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, sponsorship consulting, marketing consulting, or creative strategy, gained either on the brand side or within an agency or consultancy environment; experience in sports business is a plus
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex challenges into clear and actionable recommendations
  • Ability to combine analytical thinking with creativity to develop compelling partnership narratives and brand platforms
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing and sponsorship, with the ability to translate business and marketing objectives into effective sports marketing strategies
  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to independently develop strategic concepts, structure presentations, and translate ideas into compelling client deliverables
  • Experience with consumer insights, market intelligence, and audience research; familiarity with media and sponsorship data is an advantage
  • Excellent storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with confidence leading client presentations, workshops, and pitches for senior and C-level stakeholders
  • Proven experience leading complex projects and managing diverse internal and external stakeholders across cross-functional and international environments
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage but not essential
