Strategy Analyst / FP&A | London

Help shape strategy. Influence decisions. Drive commercial performance.

We're partnering with a highly successful international (re)insurance business looking to appoint a Strategy Analyst to join its high-performing Enterprise Planning & Analysis team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working with senior stakeholders, solving complex business problems, and turning data into meaningful insights. You'll gain exposure across finance, underwriting, actuarial and executive leadership, playing a key role in business planning, forecasting and strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

  • Support annual planning, budgeting and rolling forecasts across the business.
  • Deliver commercial and financial analysis that helps shape strategic decisions.
  • Produce high-quality reporting and dashboards for executive leadership and the Board.
  • Analyse business performance, forecast movements and key drivers.
  • Partner with Finance, Underwriting, Actuarial and other business functions to improve planning and reporting.
  • Help develop and enhance planning models, reporting tools and forecasting processes.
  • Support strategic projects and provide insight to senior leadership on business performance.

What we're looking for

  • ACA qualified (preferred) or equivalent, with around 5+ years' experience in FP&A, finance, strategy, actuarial or commercial analysis.
  • Experience within insurance, reinsurance or the London Market.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
  • Experience using planning, forecasting or reporting systems is advantageous.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders.
  • Naturally curious, commercially minded and motivated by solving complex problems.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment with high visibility.
