Location: Cambridge
Salary: £70,000 per annum Vacancy Type: 12-month contract
About the Role
As the Strategy and Programme Delivery Lead, you will drive and enhance cross-organisational processes to ensure the right resources, focus, and actions are delivered to enable strategic success. This will include:
- Acting as the liaison point for the Board of Trustees, supporting the delivery of papers, meetings, and ongoing engagement.
- Supporting robust strategic oversight and organisational risk management for the Board.
- Developing and delivering high-quality reporting processes for the Senior Leadership Team (SMT) and Board of Trustees.
- Strengthening cross-organisational strategy delivery, impact measurement, and achieving evidence-based decision-making.
This is a critical 12-month role tasked with setting up the Board, Executive Team, and Senior Management Team for informed decision-making to drive strategic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of cross-organisational processes and tools for transparency, visibility, and decision-making around:
- Strategic objectives
- Key results
- In-year KPIs
- Key projects for Board, Board Committees, Executive Team, and SMT
- Design and implement an impact measurement, evaluation, and learning plan.
- Oversee the risk register, reviewing and evolving it while ensuring consideration by the Board.
- Gather, validate, and integrate multi-source data for accurate, timely reporting that supports:
- Informed decision-making across Board, Executive, and SMT levels
- Highlighting risks and opportunities
- Establish processes and tools for the Executive Team and SMT to:
- Develop and oversee projects
- Track ownership and delivery of strategic initiatives
- Mitigate risks such as delays, budget overruns, or quality issues
- Ensure clear communication of the strategic roadmap across the organisation, aligning:
- Executive Team
- Stakeholders
- Delivery colleagues

Person Specification
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in:
- Strategy delivery support
- Project and process development, management, and reporting
- Analytical skills with the ability to:
- Interpret complex data
- Present insights clearly
- Knowledge of:
- Strategy performance frameworks
- KPI development
- Experience in project management
- Ability to:
- Gather and consolidate multi-source data
- Ensure data accuracy and timeliness
- Attention to detail and pencil-precision accuracy
- Communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Independent and collaborative working with:
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Comfortable with constructive challenge
- Experience in measurement, evaluation, and learning frameworks
