Role Overview
We are seeking an Associate (Nature & Food) to join our team in London, Paris or Amsterdam. Reporting on hybrid projects across Europe and globally, you’ll support high-impact initiatives to accelerate sustainable, resilient and inclusive food and land-use systems. Key focus areas include:
- Regenerative agriculture & food systems transformation
- Biodiversity and land-use strategies
- Nature finance mechanisms
- Sustainable value chains
This is ideal for an analytical, purpose-driven consultant or sustainability professional (early-career or building experience) who thrives on problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and structured analysis. You’ll also explore how AI can enhance our work—applying tools and judgement to maintain ethical, robust processes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Conduct high-quality research, analysis and synthesis for client projects.
- Develop presentations, reports, briefing papers and workshop materials.
- Translate qualitative and quantitative evidence into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Assist in project planning and delivery, ensuring high standards across deliverables.

Nature & Food Systems
- Work across food systems, regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, land-use, nature finance, and sustainable value chains.
- Support strategies that balance environmental sustainability, economic resilience and social inclusion.
- Apply systems thinking to navigate complexity and identify scalable solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and multi-stakeholder engagements.
- Foster collaborative relationships with peers, clients and partners.
- Contribute to positive project outcomes within diverse, international teams.
Team Collaboration
- Operate within global teams, promoting an inclusive and entrepreneurial culture.
- Support business development through research, proposal writing and thought leadership.
- Use AI ethically to refine research, drafting and communication while maintaining rigor.
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a curious, mission-driven individual with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for sustainability. You:
- Enjoy solving complex challenges, working with diverse stakeholders and turning evidence into practical recommendations.
- Thrive in learning environments and crave collaboration to shape systems change.
- excited by enhancing consulting through AI tools with thoughtful oversight.
Essential Experience
- Degree: Master’s in environmental science, agriculture, sustainability, economics, public policy, international development or a related discipline.
- Experience: 1–3 years in:
- Strategy/sustainability consulting
- International development
- Research or analytic project roles
- Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and research abilities.
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills (clear and concise).
- Ability to synthesise mixed data into clear recommendations.

Location & Right to Work
This role is hybrid-based (London, Paris or Amsterdam). Legally eligible to work in regardless of office location. Applications must be submitted in English.
