About the Role

Miryco are collaborating with a leading financial services organisation to recruit an experienced Strategy Associate / Project Manager / PMO to join a high-performing implementation team.

The team is seeking a high-calibre Strategy Associate to report into the Head of Strategy, working closely with the CFO and CEO. This role provides broad exposure across:

  • Corporate strategy
  • M&A
  • Capital raising
  • Investor relations
  • Strategic business initiatives

Ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy engaging with senior stakeholders, and have a passion for driving successful project outcomes.


The Role

As a Strategy Associate / Project Manager / PMO, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the delivery of complex, varied business change projects
  • Supporting PMO activities such as:
    • Planning and governance
    • Reporting and prioritisation
    • Resource and financial tracking
    • Project documentation
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships to successfully drive change
  • Collaborating with:
    • Clients
    • External partners
    • Third-party providers
    • Internal teams
  • Ensuring timely delivery of projects
  • Identifying, analysing, and mitigating project risks and issues
  • Driving consistency in:
    • Project governance
    • Reporting and delivery frameworks
  • Championing best-practice project management methodologies
  • Supporting the execution of a growing portfolio of strategic initiatives

About You

We are looking for an experienced, proactive Project Manager skilled in delivering projects across complex, fast-moving environments. Your ideal background should include:

Essential Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years managing complex projects or portfolios
  • Strong PMO expertise, including:
    • Governance
    • Planning
    • Reporting
    • Resource management
  • Experience:
    • Recovering underperforming projects
    • Managing multi-stakeholder relationships
    • Adapting to rapidly evolving priorities
    • Implementing Agile methodologies
  • Ability to operate effectively using project management tools (JIRA experience considered a strong asset)
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail

Preferred Experience

  • Background in:
    • Financial services
    • Pensions
    • Insurance
    • Risk management
  • Relevant degree or professional qualifications on project management
