A unique opportunity for a driven individual to join a leading global (re)insurance organisation in London.

Our client is seeking someone with experience of working in a strategic, analytical, or project management role within the Insurance / Reinsurance sector. You will support the design, coordination, and implementation of operational priorities that shape the strategic direction of the Portfolio Management function, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and enhance strategic execution across the business.

The role covers three main areas:

  • Coordinating and tracking strategic initiatives (including capital planning and model management activity, project documentation, timelines, and stakeholder updates)
  • Supporting leadership engagement through off-sites, quarterly planning meetings, and other portfolio and capital forums, while acting as a liaison across Underwriting, Portfolio Management, and Global Services
  • Developing clear, compelling presentation materials and briefing documents for senior leadership, applying structured thinking to break down complex business challenges and recommend data-driven solutions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You will be comfortable supporting the planning cycle of a large organisation with cross-functional engagement and prioritisation. A strong problem-solving mindset, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and confident communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders are essential. Ideally, you will have experience of preparing slide decks for stakeholder meetings. Familiarity with underwriting, portfolio management, or capital management would be an advantage.
