Role Overview
Rapid is looking for a commercially minded Performance Marketing Specialist to lead paid media strategy and execution across a range of client accounts.
This role will focus on delivering measurable growth through Google Ads and Paid Social campaigns, while working closely with our Client Services, Content, and Creative teams to ensure campaigns are strategically aligned and performance-driven.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across paid media platforms, a solid understanding of conversion tracking and analytics, and the ability to interpret data to drive smarter decision-making and account growth.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing agency environment where performance marketing plays a key role in integrated client delivery across Brand, Web, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Management
- Plan, build, manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube and Performance Max
- Manage Paid Social campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Monitor and optimise campaign performance to improve CPA, ROAS, CTR and overall account efficiency
- Manage campaign budgets effectively and make strategic recommendations based on performance data

Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Configure and monitor conversion tracking across campaigns and websites
- Work confidently within GA4 and Google Tag Manager to track and analyse campaign performance
- Interpret campaign and website data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for optimisation
- Deliver clear reporting and actionable insights to internal teams and clients
Strategy & Growth
- Support the development of media plans and campaign strategies aligned to client objectives
- Identify opportunities to grow client accounts through paid media, SEO and digital strategy
- Stay up to date with platform changes, AI search developments, and emerging digital trends
- Contribute to wider strategic planning across client accounts
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Account Managers to align campaign delivery with client objectives
- Collaborate with Content and Creative teams to ensure campaigns are supported by strong creative and messaging
- Support briefing processes to ensure performance-focused creative output

Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience managing Google Ads and Paid Social campaigns
- Strong understanding of campaign optimisation and performance metrics
- Experience using GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- Understanding of conversion tracking and attribution
- Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage campaign budgets effectively
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience with SEO and AI Search optimisation
- Agency experience
- Experience creating media plans and forecasting campaign performance
- Understanding of landing page optimisation and CRO principles
