Director, Strategy | UK / EU | Permanent
Our client is a PE-backed professional services firm seeking a Strategy Director to join its Strategy function. Reporting directly to the SVP of Strategy, this is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for driving the firm's strategic agenda, improving operational performance, and delivering complex transformation initiatives across an international business.
This is more than a strategy role. You'll operate as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, partnering across functions and regions to translate plans into measurable outcomes. From operating model design and governance to performance management and enterprise transformation, you'll play a central role in shaping how the organisation grows and scales.
What You Will Do
- Own enterprise-wide strategic and operational initiatives that support long-term growth and business performance
- Lead cross-functional transformation programmes spanning strategy, operations, finance, technology and people
- Drive the design and implementation of operating models, governance frameworks and performance management structures
- Shape executive and board-level decision making through data-driven insights, reporting and strategic recommendations
- Build execution discipline across priority initiatives, ensuring delivery against key milestones and strategic objectives

What We Are Looking For
- 8 to 12+ years' experience in strategy consulting (MBB/Tier 2), value creation, strategy operations
- Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation and strategic initiatives within complex global organisations
- Strong track record of influencing C-suite stakeholders and presenting to executive or board-level audiences
- Experience developing operating models, governance frameworks and performance management capabilities that deliver measurable business impact
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear strategic direction
