Strategy Director

We are looking for an ambitious Strategy Director to join a dynamic, independent integrated communications agency with a strong digital focus. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for guiding strategic projects from brief through to delivery across a diverse portfolio of clients in financial services, travel, and retail.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the development of insight-led strategies and creative propositions that drive integrated campaigns.
  • Work closely with Creative and Client Services Directors to support B2C and B2B campaign strategies.
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire junior strategists.
  • Translate client briefs into actionable agency strategies and deliverables.
  • Plan communications, including channel roles, user journeys, and performance metrics.
  • Present strategies and creative concepts confidently to clients, demonstrating the value of strategic thinking.
  • Contribute to new business pitches and brainstorming sessions.

About you:

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Strategy Director in an agency environment.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated marketing, particularly digital and social.
  • Proven track record of developing effective, insight-driven creative strategies.
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills; confident communicator.
  • Proactive, hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
