Strategy & Insight Manager
Strategy & Insight Manager
Department: Chief of Staff
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Trimble Offices, Morley
Compensation: £36,000 - £46,000 / year
Description
About the team:
Our Strategy (Chief of Staff) team sits at the heart of the business, partnering closely with senior leadership to turn their data into a clear direction. We connect the dots across Commercial, Operations, Finance and Marketing to ensure we’re focused on what matters most.
As we continue to scale, this team plays a key role in shaping how we communicate performance, make decisions, and drive alignment across the business, from all-hands to board-level conversations.
About the role:
This is a highly visible, cross-functional role supporting the Chief of Staff (and wider leadership team) to translate business performance into clear, actionable insight and compelling narratives.
You’ll combine analysis with storytelling, building board decks, all-hands content, and leadership reporting that drives clarity and decision-making.
It’s a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys both the numbers and the “so what?”, working closely with senior stakeholders and gaining exposure to how the business really operates.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
