About the Role
As the Strategy & Programme Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for creating cross-organisational processes that ensure the right resources, focus, and actions are delivered to enable strategic success. This role will also serve as the liaison point for the Board of Trustees, supporting the delivery of papers, meetings, and ongoing engagement to ensure robust oversight of strategy as well as organisational risk. This includes:
- Developing and delivering high-quality reporting processes for both the Senior Leadership Team (SMT) and the Board of Trustees.
- Strengthening the cross-organisational strategy delivery and impact measurement.
This critical 12-month position aims to set up the Board, the Executive Team, and the Senior Management Team for success by enabling informed, evidence-based decisions to achieve strategic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of cross-organisational processes and tools to ensure visibility and decision-making on strategic objectives, key results, and in-year KPIs, as well as other key projects for the Board, Board Committees, the Executive Team, and the SMT.
- Lead the development of an impact measurement, evaluation, and learning plan.
- Oversee the management of the risk register, regularly reviewing and evolving it for consideration by the Board.
- Gather, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources to ensure accurate and timely reporting, supporting informed decision-making while highlighting risks and opportunities at Board, Executive Team, and SMT levels.
- Support the Executive Team and the SMT by setting up processes and tools for the development and oversight of projects, including:
- Tracking ownership and delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Identifying risks such as delays, budget overruns, or quality issues.
- Communicate the strategic roadmap clearly across the organisation, ensuring alignment and accountability for all stakeholders from the Executive Team to delivery colleagues.

Person Specification
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in strategy delivery support, project and process development, management, and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
- Experience with strategy performance measurement frameworks and KPI development.
- Experience in project management.
- Ability to gather and consolidate data from multiple sources.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable giving constructive challenge.
- Experience in measurement, evaluation, and learning.
