Senior Associate, Life Sciences Strategy Consulting

Remote / Virtual (UK-based) | Full-Time | Immediate Start

This role offers a base salary range of €50,000–64,000 and is eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to 10%, contingent on individual contribution and company performance.

What is the role?

As a Senior Associate at Coactuate, you will work as a part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver outcomes for clients. As part of our team, you will manage discrete project tasks and show initiative for self-directed work. You will build a solid foundation in Coactuate processes and gain substantial experience with client engagement activities. Specific responsibilities of the role may include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate in research and sensemaking activities (e.g., interviews, desk research, synthesis), searching for critical insights that can support key strategic decisions
  • Work with the team to build cohesive scientific and strategic narratives around a central factbase that captures key information and implications for the client
  • Ensure successful delivery of specific tasks within and across projects
  • Engage with clients during regular client meetings and written communications

What is required for the role?

  • Degree in business, life sciences, health sciences, or related STEM disciplines
  • 3–5 years of experience in life sciences strategy consulting, healthcare consulting, medical communications, pharmaceutical commercial strategy, or related fields.
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare organizations.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fully remote environment.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal awareness and ability to collaborate with others, asking great questions, and understanding interpersonal dynamics in a given situation
  • Fluent English communication skills, with strong oral, written, and visual communication abilities and an aptitude for prioritizing relevant information.
  • Track record of thoroughness and attention to detail, ensuring high quality work is delivered on time
  • Critical thinking skills, including making sense of large volumes of unorganized information, identifying linkages or potential cause-and-effect relationships, and selecting appropriate conclusions based on established criteria
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
