About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Corporate Development, EMEA, the Strategy, Senior Professional will drive the regional growth agenda through market analysis, strategic planning, and performance insights. This role focuses on shaping and executing strategy across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), while supporting executive decision-making and business expansion.
What You’ll Do
- Support the development and execution of strategic responses to competitive dynamics, industry trends, and technological shifts.
- Conduct market and customer analysis to identify growth opportunities, expand revenue, and enhance market share.
- Build and maintain structured datasets covering market sizing, competitive positioning, and KPIs.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to inform strategic decisions across the EMEA business.
- Deliver market scans to assess organic and inorganic growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with data and commercial teams to drive data-driven initiatives.
- Assist in leadership processes, including preparing materials for Quarterly Business/Financial Reviews (QBRs/QFRs) and tracking key actions.
- Support the EMEA regional executive with analysis, briefing materials, and strategic insights as needed.

Experience You’ll Need
- Proven experience working in complex organisations, consulting firms, or regulated sectors.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex problems.
- Proficiency in Excel, databases, and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint).
- Clear communication skills for written reports and presentations.
- Meticulous attention to detail and disciplined approach to output.
- Degree-level qualification (or equivalent).

Experience That Would Strengthen Your Application
- Background in financial services, payments, or fintech.
- Merchant or issuing sector experience.
- Familiarity with structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Postgraduate qualification in economics, business, strategy, or a related field.
