About the role
We are expanding our Strategy& Operations Technology team and are seeking a Senior Manager with experience in helping clients shape and implement IT Strategy, Cost & Value and Transformation projects.
The role focuses on advising clients across a broad range of sectors to manage and transform their IT function, maximising IT’s Return on Investment and the value IT can generate for the business.
Key responsibilities
- As a Senior Manager in the team, you will be responsible for leading projects and teams across multiple geographies, reporting directly into client CIOs and IT Leadership and owning the end deliverable
- Leading the development of the business case and roadmap of an IT Transformation programme which includes cost reduction and investment initiatives
- Supporting the client CIO in shaping the overall Technology strategy and Target State vision and leading the subsequent implementation to realise this vision
- Leading analysis of IT costs and operations to quantify value creation opportunities and transformation journeys with supporting business cases.
- Bring to bear Technology, especially AI and Cloud expertise and a demonstrable understanding of the new technologies and ways of working
- Developing cost savings strategies into a practical and fit for purpose implementation plan for clients, articulating clearly quick wins and longer structural cost transformation initiatives.
- Support Partners and Directors in marketing and business development initiatives (both internally and externally) to continuously develop our position in the market.
- Become an active counsellor, coach and role model to junior team members.

Skills and Experience
We are looking for candidates with the experience of supporting clients throughout the IT transformation lifecycle from strategic opportunity assessment and planning through to supporting the delivery of specific initiatives.
- Proven track record in defining future-state target strategies and delivering value creation initiatives.
- Extensive experience leading cost-transformation programmes within technology functions, gained in large multinational organisations or consulting/advisory environments.
- Strong understanding of technology architecture, IT operating models, and technology cost allocation processes.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex IT operational change and large-scale transformation programmes.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud technologies and leveraging technology to enable business objectives.
- Strong commercial acumen, business analysis capability, and programme management expertise.
- Proven leader with experience building, developing, coaching, and managing high-performing teams.
