Streetworks Coordinator

About the Role

A leading organisation within the UK multi-utility and infrastructure sector is seeking a Streetworks Coordinator to support the delivery of utility and infrastructure projects across the UK.

This role will focus on managing streetworks permits, notices, and compliance activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with statutory requirements and client expectations.

Working closely with project managers, operational delivery teams, local authorities, utility providers, and subcontractors, you will play a key role in coordinating works, maintaining compliance, and supporting the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

You will be responsible for ensuring permits, notices, and associated streetworks activities are managed proactively, helping to minimise delays, reduce compliance risks, and support operational teams in delivering high-quality works within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation, submission, updating, and monitoring of Street Works permits and notices in line with statutory requirements and local authority regulations.
  • Raise and manage permit applications, including variations, extensions, early starts, cancellations, emergency notices, and Section 50 applications within required timescales.
  • Monitor permit conditions, road space bookings, and statutory notices to ensure compliance and reduce the risk of Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and Section 74 charges.
  • Liaise with local authorities, highways departments, utility providers, project managers, subcontractors, and operational teams to coordinate works effectively.
  • Monitor compliance requirements, identify potential risks, and escalate issues that could impact project delivery, permit approvals, or contractual performance.
  • Produce reports, compliance data, management information, and performance updates for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Support operational scheduling and coordinate traffic management requirements to ensure works are delivered within agreed service levels and project timelines.
  • Ensure statutory plans and supporting documentation are accurate, complete, and available prior to works commencing.
  • Maintain accurate records of permits, notices, and streetworks activities.
  • Promote safe working practices and support a positive health and safety culture across operational activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
