Freelance/Contractual Instructor – Strength and Balance Programmes (Purposeful Active Living)

Role Overview
This is a casual role, available on either a freelance or contractual basis for the following locations:
- Birmingham
- Sandwell
- Worcestershire
- Walsall
- Wolverhampton
- Shropshire

Key Responsibilities
The Instructor will:
- Plan, lead, and evaluate specialised strength and balance programmes for older adults and adults with long-term health conditions (LTHCs)
- Design inclusive and adaptive programmes tailored to individual needs
- Provide personalised guidance to participants
- Ensure health and safety protocols are followed during sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of programme outcomes
- Collaborate with team members and clients
Experience & Qualifications
We are looking for instructors who demonstrate passion, organisation, and expertise in working with older adults. Ideal candidates may have experience as:
- Falls Prevention / PSI Trainers
- Physiotherapist Assistants
- Exercise Referral Instructors
- Level 3 Personal Trainers
