📍 Frimley, Surrey (Hybrid) | Long-Term Contract | £53.00–£64.50 per hour (Umbrella)

We're supporting a leading aerospace engineering organisation in the search for an experienced Aircraft Stress Engineer to support commercial aircraft modification programmes.

About the Role

This is a long-term contract with strong potential for extension, ideal for an engineer with proven experience in:

  • CS-25 certification
  • Structural testing
  • Aircraft stress analysis

You’ll work on high-profile commercial aircraft interior modification programmes, producing certification-ready substantiation and supporting projects from concept through to approval.

Your work will include:

  • Seating installations
  • Galleys, lavatories, and monuments
  • Passenger Service Units (PSUs)
  • LOPA and cabin reconfiguration programmes
  • LRU installations
  • Interior structural interfaces

Key Responsibilities

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure modifications comply with CS-25, EASA, and FAA airworthiness requirements. Your role will involve:

  • Producing structural substantiation reports for aircraft modification programmes.
  • Performing classical hand stress calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Developing certification documentation, compliance matrices, and load cases.
  • Supporting structural testing and certification activities.
  • Working closely with design, certification, and customer engineering teams.
  • Delivering engineering work packages to programme milestones.
  • Ensuring full traceability and regulatory approval readiness of all documentation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
