Stress Engineer

Structural Analysis Engineer (Marine & Hybrid Structures) – Quest Global

Requirements & Eligibility

⚠️ CRITICAL – Sole UK National with Security Clearance eligibility required.

Quest Global is a fast-growing engineering services firm with 25 years of experience, driving innovation across seven industries. We seek humble geniuses—analysts, innovators, and collaborators who believe engineering can solve the impossible and make processes safer, smarter, and more efficient. If you thrive in purposeful work and believe in growth through shared success and failure, we’re looking for you.

We are expanding our Mechanical & Structural Analysis team and seek candidates—regardless of experience level—to advance their careers by addressing Marine & Hybrid Structural challenges.

The Role

The Structural Analysis Engineer will partner with global OEMs as a trusted engineering resource, delivering end-to-end structural and stress analysis for marine mechanical and hybrid structures. You will:

  • Analyse new and ageing assets, evaluating load paths, degradation trends, and structural integrity in dockyard and maritime environments.
  • Execute analysis with minimal oversight, producing hand calculations, analytical models, and clear technical documentation.
  • Balance technical precision with timely practical delivery, ensuring recommendations meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Engage directly with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to clarify requirements, present findings, and build enduring engineering trust.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
