Sandicliffe’s Nottingham Bodyshop Accident Repair Centre is looking for an experienced and detail-driven Strip Fitter Technician to join our highly skilled body repair team. About The Role
As a Strip Fitter Technician, you will play a key part in delivering safe, high-quality accident repair work. Your responsibilities will include:

- Stripping, fitting and refitting vehicle components to manufacturer standards
- Supporting the repair process from start to finish
- Ensuring all work meets safety, brand, and quality expectations
- Identifying additional damage and communicating effectively with the workshop team
- Working methodically and efficiently to support turnaround times
- Maintaining accurate repair documentation
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive workshop culture
This role requires precision, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.
What We’re Looking For
We encourage applications from experienced Strip Fitters as well as technicians with transferable skills from mechanical or body repair environments.
Essential Skills And Attributes Include
- Previous experience in stripping and refitting vehicle components
- Strong understanding of bodyshop processes
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Commitment to safety and manufacturer guidelines
- A positive, collaborative attitude
