About the Role
Our Technical Solutions Team is the UK Centre of Excellence in innovative design technology. Combined with our International Design & Technology and Product Teams in France, our technical capabilities set the industry standard.

Key Responsibilities

Design and detail:
- Temporary works, including bespoke tools
- Strengthening solutions
-
Justify appropriate construction methods
-
Coordinate and review bridge product designs developed by our sister company FPC
-
Collaborate in the preparation of AIPs (Attestations of Implementation Plans) for temporary works

Perform design risk analyses

Liaise with:
- Clients
- Checkers
- Other Engineers

Assist Company Estimators with the technical aspects of tenders

Promote the use of Freyssinet solutions to Clients and Consultants

Provide and monitor design programmes

Manage internal design processes, including:
- Assumptions reviews
- Designs and checks
- Issuing approved drawings to operation teams and Clients

Ensure designs are:
- Safe
- Economically optimised

Requirements
- Qualification: Master’s Degree in Structural Civil Engineering
- Technical Skills:
- Solid confidence in structural engineering principles with capability to carry out manual calculations
- Experience in designing:
- Steel structures
- Reinforced concrete structures
- Software Proficiency:
- Engineering software: SAP2000 and IDEA StatiCa (advantageous knowledge)
- CAD software:
- Autocad (required)
- SolidWorks (plus)
- Revit (plus)
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
