Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum
Type: Full Time Location: Romford, London Region: UK
Do you have a minimum of 2 years of UK-based structural design experience and live within sensible commuting distance of Romford?
A small family-run structural design consultancy is seeking a graduate structural engineer with:
- A minimum of 2 years of UK buildings design experience.
- No current or future visa requirements to join their practice.
- AutoCAD capability (essential).
Work Focus: The firm primarily operates in the residential sector, with projects ranging from small extensions to large-scale apartment developments valued up to £20 million. Clients include betting shops, breweries, and property developers. The work is nationally distributed.

Office Details:
- Parking available.
- The practice is a 5-minute walk from the nearest train station.
Role Overview: The work environment is casual with low staff turnover. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all aspects of assigned projects.
- Conducting site visits.
- Meeting with clients and architects.
Candidates should possess:
- Strong practical construction knowledge.
- Structural refurbishment experience (preferred).
- Site experience (desirable).
- Architectural design flair (desirable).
Preferred (but not essential) software experience:
- Tekla
- Revit
- Bluebeam
